When are you open?

Plantation reservations will be available periodically throughout September/October and November. Check our Facebook page for updates. We'll then be open daily from 27th November until the 20th December: Monday: 12:00PM - 4:00PMTuesday: 10:00AM - 4:00PMWednesday: 10:00AM - 4:00PMThursday: 10:00AM - 4:00PMFriday: 9:00AM - 5:00PMSaturday: 8:30AM - 5:00PMSunday: 9:00AM - 4:00PMAs the nights draw in we close the plantation from 4:00 due to health and safety reasons, so please factor this into your visit. The last day to collect reserved trees from the plantation is Saturday 19th December.

Do you deliver?

Delivery for trees over 12ft is charged at an hourly rate of £100.00. With the price being calculated based on the travel time of the round-trip. Delivery for big trees is subject to availability so please speak with a member of staff at reception when you arrive at the farm.For trees up to 12ft* we work with a local courier who covers all RG postcodes, as well as some SP, SN and OX postcodes. The prices for these areas are:RG14, RG18 and RG19 are £10.00RG17, RG20 and RG26 are £15.00All other postcodes from £20.00*** for trees between 10-12ft the price is subject to the weight of the tree. For trees that require more than 1 person to safely move, there will be an additional charge.** the price for all other postcodes is subject to delivery date flexibility and may vary if you request a specific delivery date, or if you are a significant distance outside of the areas we usually cover.

Do we need to book to visit the plantation?

There's no need to book, you can turn up anytime we're open.

Question 5

Do you sell trees with roots?

Accepted Answer

We don’t sell trees with roots from the plantation. The reason being that we predominantly grow Nordmann Fir which has a core root which goes quite deep - this makes it very labour intensive to dig them up properly and then leaves big holes in the plantation which creates trip hazards and makes it harder for us to maintain and replant.

Do you do tree rentals?

This is not something we currently offer. If we find a way of providing this as a service whilst keeping the trees alive for mutliple years consistently - we will look to offer it in the future.

Do you sell food and/or drink?

We don’t have any food or drink for sale at the farm.

Question 8

Do you have toilet facilities at the farm?

There is access to a portaloo on site, ask any member of staff and they will point you in the right direction.
 
We don’t have any baby changing facilities or disabled toilets at the farm so please keep that in mind when planning your visit.

Question 9

Are dogs allowed at the farm?

Accepted Answer

We no longer allow dogs into the sections of the plantation we're harvesting from. This is to avoid any fouling on trees destined to enter people’s homes. We do have specific areas of the plantation where dogs on leads are welcome - all dog mess must be picked up and disposed of properly. Just ask a member of staff on arrival and they will direct you accordingly.
